Android Developer (Kotlin experience)

We are looking for a talented and experienced Kotlin Developer with a strong background in the automotive industry to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance software solutions that power our cutting-edge automotive diagnostic tools and systems. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of Kotlin, automotive protocols, and the ability to work closely with hardware and embedded systems teams.Key Responsibilities:Design, develop, and maintain software applications using Kotlin for automotive systemsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate software with hardware and embedded systemsImplement and optimize solutions using automotive protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, UDS, OBD-II)Work on real-time systems, ensuring performance, reliability, and scalability of the softwareDebug and troubleshoot software and hardware integration issuesMaintain code quality through best practices such as unit testing, code reviews, and documentationParticipate in the design and development of new product features and enhancementsRequirementsRequired Skills and Experience:6+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on KotlinExperience in the automotive industry, particularly in developing software for automotive diagnostic tools or ECUsStrong understanding of automotive protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, UDS, OBD-II)Familiarity with real-time operating systems (RTOS) and embedded systemsExperience working with hardware and firmware teams to integrate software solutionsStrong problem-solving skills and attention to detailExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExperience with cloud-connected automotive diagnostic toolsKnowledge of Pre-CAN protocols (e.g., K-Line, Link, J1850, ALDL, D2B, Van Bus, Bean)Familiarity with automotive Electronic Control Units (ECUs) and related technologiesExperience with Kotlin in embedded systems or device driversFamiliarity with Bluetooth, USB, J2534, or multiprocessor functionality
