2nd Shift Material Handler - Beverage Manufacturing

Fortress Nutrition is actively hiring for an experience 2nd Shift Material Handler to work in our warehouse. The right candidate will have previous experience in Stand-Up Forklift/Stand-Up Reach Truck, preferably in the Food and Beverage Industry, not required, and have stable work history with previous employers.Must be able to be accountable to the company's need for overtime & weekend work as required.Training Schedule: FIRST SHIFT1st Shift: Monday-Friday; 8:00am-4:30pm, over-time and weekends required per production needsStandard Schedule: SECOND SHIFT2nd Shift: Monday-Friday; 2:00pm-10:30pm, over-time and weekends required per production needs What You'll Do:Operate the Raymond Stand-Up Pacer and/or Stand-Up Reach Trucks to load/unload trucks, move product/materials, and perform material handling duties working as a teamPut away finished goods from canning production line to appropriate location within the warehouseMaintain inventory by identifying, labeling, and placing materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventoryLocate materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production ordersMaintain in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and suppliesEfficiently stack and safely stores productions in their designated areaDocument material and supply disposition by recording units delivered and location of unitsReceive credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supplies code and lot number and quantity, placing materials in stockPrepare finished stock for shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading and securing productDocument product shipments by recording units shippedMaintain material handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairsComply with OSHA standards; Adhere to FDA and GMP standardsMaintain a clean, neat, and orderly work environment Perform other duties as assignedWhat We're Looking For:Required Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED equivalent2+ years of experience in a material handling role, preferably in Food/Beverage manufacturing or a regulated industryMust be able to proficiently read, write, and communicate in EnglishAbility to work over-time and/or weekends in order to complete orders according to business needsReliability, punctuality, strong sense of urgency and safety recordPreferred Qualifications:Previous experience driving Raymond Stand-Up Pacers and Stand-Up Reach Trucks is strongly desiredPrevious experience with understanding of Food Safety/Quality Programs such as GMPs, Food Safety, etc.Physical Requirements:Frequently required to stand; walk; talk or hear; reach above shoulders; use hands to finger, handle, grasp, pinch or touch objects, controls, tools or equipment; kneel, crouch, and use foot/feet to operate machinery; bend at the waist; climb or balanceOccasionally required to lift, carry, move, push or pull materials, product or equipment up to 50 poundsAbility to stand and walk for long periods of time, up to ten (10) or more hours in a single shiftWhy Fortress Nutrition - Check out our Benefits & Perks!!2nd Shift Material Handle Pay: $21.00 per hour + $1.00 Shift PremiumPaid Time Off (PTO) Package 9 Paid HolidaysDouble Time Pay for 50+ Hours Per Week!Comprehensive Medical, Dental & Vision InsuranceHSA Plan Option with Quarterly Company Contribution Company Paid Life & AD&D Insurance & Short- and Long-Term Disability Insurance401(K) Plan with Company Match & Aggressive ROIEmployee Assistance Program $1,000 Referral Bonus - Uncapped! ...and more!
