As our Enterprise AI and Automation Engineer, you will join the Enterprise AI and Automation team to help take AI from concept to production, delivering real use cases that change how the business operates. You will work directly alongside the Enterprise Applications Architect, partnering on builds from day one. This is not a research role and it is not a greenfield start. You will onboard onto active production codebases with real users, extending and improving applications that people rely on every day. Your focus is the business-facing layer: turning real operational problems into working AI-powered solutions. We operate an AI-first development model — AI tools generate the code, and engineers review, refine, and ship it. You will need a solid software engineering background to do this well, but the day-to-day is orchestration, not typing. You will also work closely with stakeholders across customer service, compliance, operations, and finance to understand their problems, scope solutions, and validate outcomes. The ability to talk to non-technical people, translate their needs into working software, and care about whether that software is actually usable is essential. So, what will you be doing?Use Case DeliveryOwn the full lifecycle of AI use cases from discovery through production deployment and iterationBuild AI-powered applications across a range of business domainsImplement structured and hybrid AI approaches for mission-critical use cases requiring high accuracy and auditabilityIntegrate AI capabilities into existing business systems, workflows, and toolsBuild and extend workflow automations to connect AI services to business processesStakeholder PartnershipTranslate business requirements into technical implementations that deliver measurable valueCollaborate with L&D and the AI Adoption team on training programmes, feature rollouts, and adoption trackingPresent demos, progress updates, and results to both technical and non-technical audiencesEngineering ExcellenceReview and validate AI-generated code against production-quality standards and software engineering best practicesApply knowledge of software design patterns to guide solution architecture and ensure maintainable, well-structured outputsImplement proper testing, logging, error handling, and monitoring for all deliverablesContribute to documentation, engineering standards, and reusable solution patternsWorking with the TeamWork under the guidance of the Enterprise Applications Architect, pairing on builds, sharing knowledge, and learning the platformsIdentify new opportunities where AI can solve business problems or create competitive advantageContribute to the use case backlog with prioritised, well-scoped proposalsStay current with AI/ML developments and evaluate new tools and techniques for applicabilityAnd what are we looking for?Professional software engineering experience building user-facing applicationsHands-on experience with LLMs, prompt engineering, AI tool-calling and agent frameworks (e.g., MCP, function calling), and AI application developmentExperience working directly with business stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutionsStrong communication skills - you can explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences and run a demo without reading from a scriptComfortable with AI-assisted development workflows - you use tools like Cursor, Claude Code, or Copilot as part of how you work, and you know when to trust the output and when to override itDemonstrated ability to ship end-to-end: from requirements to deployed, working softwareComfortable working in ambiguous, fast-moving environments where you proactively identify what needs doing and influence the directionPreferred QualificationsExperience with AI/ML frameworks and tools (LangChain, LlamaIndex, Semantic Kernel, or similar)Familiarity with modern frontend frameworks (React, Next.js, or equivalent) sufficient to review and guide AI-generated UI codeExperience with RAG architectures, vector databases, or hybrid AI patterns (e.g., combining LLM classification with deterministic rule engines)Familiarity with workflow automation platforms and event-driven integration patternsExperience with GitLab CI/CD pipelines, Terraform, and containerised deployment workflowsKnowledge of gaming, hospitality, or regulated industry operationsWhat You Will GetThe opportunity to shape how AI is applied across a major gaming and entertainment company, working alongside experienced architectsDirect line to business impact - every project you ship solves a real problem for real peopleA small, senior team where your contributions are visible and your voice mattersExposure to diverse business domains: customer service, compliance, operations, finance, and moreA culture that values delivery over deck-building and pragmatism over perfection
