Swim Instructor (Seasonal/Summer)

Job Description The Camp Thunderbird YMCA is seeking part time swim instructors to lead swim lessons for program participants at our pool! We are looking for candidates with open availability. This is a part time, seasonal position (summer) which starts at $14.00 per hour. Looking for candidates who can work over the summer months up to 40 hours per week!DUTIES for Swim InstructorsApplicants should be enthusiastic and energetic, with strong interpersonal skills. We are looking for candidates who can work regular weekly hours with all ages. Using different tools and teaching techniques, swim instructors will work with small groups of students teaching swimming skills, basic water safety, and the YMCA core values.QUALIFICATIONS for Swim InstructorsCandidates must have current CPR, AED and First Aid certifications.
