Our Summer Camp Staff will be responsible for implementing the summer camp program by actively engaging with youth participants and staff daily. Apply today for a summer full of adventure at Chesterfield County!Job Responsibilities:-Works closely with the Camp Supervisor in implementing scheduled activities.-Assist with the daily participant check-in process.-Responsible for safety and supervision of participants.-Organize all equipment and supplies needed for activities ahead of the scheduled activity time.-Communicate clearly to individuals and groups to explain activity steps, rules, and safety instructions to maintain an orderly activity and a safe environment.-Lead children of all ages, acting as a role model at all times.-Modify instructions and scope of activity to accommodate various age and skill levels so a safe and satisfying experiences had by all participants.-Enforce camp rules at all times, including safety measures unique to each different activity.-Perform other work as required.ShiftShift varies; Monday - Friday: flexible hours between 7:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; includes some evenings, weekends, and holidaysWork LocationParks and RecreationChesterfield County is an Equal Opportunity Employer Committed to Workforce Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
