Sales Representative - HVAC
Search Solution Group is seeking a Sales Representative on behalf of our client, a national network specializing in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and building automation services. This role is responsible for driving new business growth within the Denver market by identifying automation and controls opportunities within commercial facilities. The ideal candidate will have experience in HVAC, building automation, or controls sales and enjoy working in a fast-paced, relationship-driven sales environment. This position focuses heavily on pipeline generation, developing strong industry partnerships, and closing automation and service contract opportunities.Key Responsibilities:Generate new business through proactive prospecting and relationship building within the commercial HVAC and mechanical contractor communityIdentify and pursue building automation and controls opportunities within commercial facilitiesBuild and maintain strong relationships with mechanical HVAC contractors, facility managers, and industry partnersPrepare project estimates and proposals for automation and controls solutionsMaintain and manage a healthy sales pipeline with consistent lead generation and follow-upClose new service contracts and automation project opportunitiesTrack sales activity, opportunities, and pipeline progress through the CRM systemCollaborate with internal engineering, service, and technical teams to ensure successful project execution and customer satisfactionRequirements include:Education:High School Diploma requiredBachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferredExperience:Minimum of 3+ years of experience in HVAC, controls, building automation, or a related industryExperience working with commercial facilities, mechanical contractors, or building service providersExperience with project estimating, proposal development, or project scoping preferredSkills:Strong sales and business development capabilitiesExcellent communication, negotiation, and closing skillsAbility to build and maintain a consistent sales pipelineStrong relationship-building skills within contractor and commercial client networksProficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applicationsUnderstanding of HVAC systems, building automation, and controls technologiesFamiliarity with commercial mechanical systems and service contract structuresKnowledge of automation project estimating and solution-based selling
