Associate Attorney

BPK Legal Search is working with a highly respected, global law firm that is expanding its Intellectual Property team in L os Angeles. This role focuses on counseling and advising fashion and technology clients on trademark and copyright matters. Responsibilities: Manage and prosecute domestic and international trademark and copyright applications, including conducting clearance searches, preparing and filing applications, and responding to office actions.Negotiate complex IP agreements, such as licensing, assignment, confidentiality, technology transfer agreements, and other commercial agreements. Advise clients on portfolio strategy, and represent clients in administrative and court proceedings.Requirements:JD + active California Bar membership5+ years in IP law, with a focus on trademark prosecution, IP transactions and/or litigationStrong drafting, negotiation, and communication skillsComfort working independently across multiple mattersThe compensation for this role is budgeted at $260,000–$295,000 depending on experience.
