Oak Hill Players - Producer (High School Musical) 2026-27 A Producer provides coordination, communication, and logistical support for school musical productions. Working collaboratively with the Director and production team, this position supports the planning, organization, and successful execution of all aspects of the production process. The Producer serves in an operational support role while working under the artistic leadership and vision of the Director. Essential Responsibilities: Communication & Scheduling Communicate rehearsal and production schedules to families using established communication platforms, including Google Calendar and email updates Prepare and distribute weekly communications to families to ensure timely and consistent information sharing Support electronic communications among students, families, and staff using district-approved communication tools Student Supervision & Coordination Support attendance procedures and participation expectations Provide adult supervision during rehearsals, work sessions, and performances, as needed Assist with coordinating student participation in production activities, including set construction, props, and technical support Support costume organization efforts in collaboration with the Costume Designer Event & Front-of-House Coordination Collaborate with the Auditorium Manager and school departments to coordinate front-of-house operations and ticket sales Support the organization and efficient operation of performances and related events Production Support Coordinate preparation and printing of promotional materials, including posters and programs Assist with coordinating production-related materials, including cast and crew apparel Support production logistics and operational needs throughout the season Qualifications: Required: Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlines Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families Demonstrated reliability, flexibility, and attention to detail Preferred: Experience coordinating theater productions, school activities, or performing arts programs Familiarity with Google Workspace tools and communication platforms Work Environment and Expectations: Availability outside of the regular school day is required, including evenings and weekends during production season. Position may involve supervising students during rehearsals, performances, and production-related activities. Reports to: The Director of Athletics/Student Activities who provides overall objectives, direction. As well will report to the Oak Hill Players Director as it relates to the program.
