Job Title: Oak Hill Players - Producer (High School Musical) 2026-27Position Summary: A Producer provides coordination, communication, and logistical support for school musical productions. Working collaboratively with the Director and production team, this position supports the planning, organization, and successful execution of all aspects of the production process.The Producer serves in an operational support role while working under the artistic leadership and vision of the DirectorEssential ResponsibilitiesCommunication & SchedulingCommunicate rehearsal and production schedules to families using established communication platforms, including Google Calendar and email updatesPrepare and distribute weekly communications to families to ensure timely and consistent information sharingSupport electronic communications among students, families, and staff using district-approved communication toolsStudent Supervision & CoordinationSupport attendance procedures and participation expectationsProvide adult supervision during rehearsals, work sessions, and performances, as neededAssist with coordinating student participation in production activities, including set construction, props, and technical supportSupport costume organization efforts in collaboration with the Costume DesignerEvent & Front-of-House CoordinationCollaborate with the Auditorium Manager and school departments to coordinate front-of-house operations and ticket salesSupport the organization and efficient operation of performances and related eventsProduction SupportCoordinate preparation and printing of promotional materials, including posters and programsAssist with coordinating production-related materials, including cast and crew apparelSupport production logistics and operational needs throughout the seasonQualificationsRequiredStrong organizational and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple responsibilities and meet deadlinesAbility to work collaboratively with students, staff, and familiesDemonstrated reliability, flexibility, and attention to detailPreferredExperience coordinating theater productions, school activities, or performing arts programsFamiliarity with Google Workspace tools and communication platformsWork Environment And ExpectationsAvailability outside of the regular school day is required, including evenings and weekends during production seasonPosition may involve supervising students during rehearsals, performances, and production-related activitiesReports to: The Director of Athletics/Student Activities who provides overall objectives, direction.
