This is a fast-moving, dynamic environment where flexibility, teamwork and resourcefulness are key attributes needed for success.**Description**As a key part of the Data Center Operations team, you will lead design and construction administration on large scale projects as Apple's Owners Representative for the Mechanical Engineer team as a domain expert.**Minimum Qualifications**+ BS in Mechanical Engineering or a related field or equivalent job-related experience+ 5+ years experience with large mechanical cooling systems+ Ability to travel**Preferred Qualifications**+ 8+ years of experience in Mission Critical facilities design, construction and/or operations+ 2+ years of operational experience as a mechanical engineer data center domain expert+ Model system performance, efficiency and reliability to prescribe improvement opportunities+ Experience with complex system upgrade projects or refreshes to operating facility and site+ Ability to Identify and resolve project issues, problems and deficiencies early and directly+ Pragmatic and intuitive system design skills to reduce operational complexity and risks+ Complex Level 5 integrated systems test (IST) and commissioning experience+ Building Automation Systems (BAS) sequence of operations (SOO) development and tuning+ Deep dive on system and component failure, root-cause analysis (RCA's) and life expectancyApple is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to inclusion and diversity.
