Job Description Bachelor's or Master's degree in Special Education, active Special Education Teacher license and minimum 1+ years Special Education Teacher experience required. This contract position offers an opportunity to work closely with a diverse student population within a supportive school environment.Location: Bethlehem, PAContract Duration: ASAP through June 10, 2026Hours: 35 hours per week, 8:15 AM 3:45 PM with a 30-minute unpaid lunchKey Responsibilities:Deliver specialized instruction tailored to students with emotional support needs in grades 3-5.Implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and collaborate with staff and families to meet student needs.Maintain accurate records and participate in data collection for student progress.Create a positive, structured classroom environment that fosters student growth and development.Qualifications:Fully active Pennsylvania teaching certificate in special education is required.Experience working with elementary-aged students in emotional support settings preferred.Strong classroom management and communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families.Emergency teaching permits will not be accepted for this assignment.This position offers the chance to have a meaningful impact on students requiring emotional support services during a full school day schedule.
