Lead Grounds and Maintenance

Job Description Are you someone with landscaping and groundskeeping experience who takes pride in maintaining a clean environment? Hines Building Services (HBM) is seeking a dedicated and skilled Lead Landscaper to support the grounds and facility needs of an independent school campus environment.The Lead Landscaper is responsible for overseeing and performing a wide range of landscaping duties with a major focus on grounds management and landscape maintenance, while also applying maintenance skills to support general building and facility needs.The typical schedule for this position is 7am to 330pm Monday to Friday. There are times when projects will need to be done on the weekends and you may be required to adjust your schedule.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesLandscape & GroundsMowing, edging, trimming, pruning, and plantingIrrigation system monitoring and repairLandscape health and pest controlMaintain outdoor areas for safety and cleanlinessCoordinate landscaping vendorsEnsure safety protocols are followed during all landscaping activities to prevent accidents and maintain a secure work environmentGeneral Maintenance & TradesBasic carpentry, plumbing, and electrical repairsRoutine and preventive maintenanceTroubleshooting facility issuesAssist with installations and improvementsEnsure safety complianceThis job description is not designed to cover or contain a comprehensive listing of activities, duties or responsibilities that are required of the employee for this job.
