Auxiliary - Position - Other Job Number 0000764617Start DateOpen DateClosing DateAttachmentsJob DescriptionInformation Systems Student Technician is responsible for providing technical assistance services to local education agencies to facilitate successful implementation of any of the following information systems available to them: TSDS/PEIMS, Ascender, Skyward, Future SystemsEducation Qualifications:High School Diploma or GED requiredExperience:Five years' experience with student information systems databases (Ascender, Skyward) -requiredExcellent customer service, and advanced clerical and data entry experience - required.Special Knowledge and Skills:Strong communication, public relations, and interpersonal skills.Critical thinking and problem-solving skills.Self-motivated, task-oriented, and able to work with clients with diverse needs.Strong organizational skills.Ability to interpret and apply policy and procedures.Ability to objectively evaluate data and provide pertinent feedback in relation to assigned areas.Ability to effectively communicate with clients by telephone and remotely (e.g. telephone, email, webinars).Advanced knowledge in the assigned areas above, including the use of the computer and relevant technologies.Program Management:Responsible for providing support and technical assistance in planning, implementing, and evaluating PEIMS and Student Information Systems support to ESC-2 staff and external clients.Performs other duties as assigned.Participates in required program meetings/trainings/events to meet program goals.Mental DemandsAbility to remain composed under stress.Ability to communicate effectively, both verbal and written.Ability to think critically and problem-solve.Ability to maintain emotional control under stress.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with limited supervision.Ability to interpret policy and procedures.Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Ability to multi-task and cross-train.Physical Demands:Ability to lift 15 lbs or more.Occasional prolonged and irregular hours.Occasional out of region travel.Salary: From 35057.00Salary: To 50443.00
