In this role you will get to support the design and development of roadway and temporary traffic control plans for a variety of transportation projects while growing under the mentorship of licensed engineers.**What You'll Be Doing:**+ Working under the supervision of a licensed engineer, analyze and prepare roadway and Temporary Traffic Control Plans (TTCP) designs, calculations and drawings for Expressway/Limited-Access facilities and Arterial/Local roads using DOT and/or local jurisdiction criteria+ Develop 3D Models of roadways, using Corridor Modeling in GEOPAK and/or Open Roads+ Approach tasks with an open mindset; propose innovative solutions to design problems+ Prepare engineering reports and contract documents for review by a licensed engineer+ May track and provide initial review tasks of technicians or designers+ Responsible for managing timely completion of multiple assigned tasks+ Communicate effectively with team members and internal design groups; external communication as required on assigned tasks+ Effectively present proposed design solutions as part of internal project meetings; may attend and contribute to presentations with external parties+ Adhere to company marketing requirements by providing timely resume updates and participating in marketing campaigns+ Ensure timely completion of time sheets and expense reports+ Take ownership of personal career development by seeking and providing feedback, seizing opportunities to develop new skills, and setting and pursuing personal goals**What Required Skills You'll Bring:**+ Bachelor's degree in Civil or Transportation Engineering+ 0-3+ years of related work experience**Security Clearance Requirement:**NoneThis position is part of our Critical Infrastructure team.For more than 80 years, our experts have designed and delivered the critical infrastructure that connects and protects communities around the world.
