11-50About the RoleThe Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead a groundbreaking national initiative aimed at transforming the funding model of Jewish education. The successful candidate will be the founding senior executive, responsible for the strategic and operational implementation of a multi-phase plan to eliminate parent tuition responsibility. This role demands an entrepreneurial spirit, strong relational skills, and the ability to work across diverse Jewish communities. The Executive Director will work closely with an engaged Board of Directors and an established marketing consultant, serving as the primary liaison to participating schools and overseeing community engagement, donor education, and fundraising execution.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a background in senior leadership within nonprofit, communal, or mission-driven organizations. The role requires excellent interpersonal, communication, and relationship-management skills, as well as the ability to operate effectively in a collaborative, Board-engaged environment. A strong understanding of Jewish communal structures and day school ecosystems is preferred, along with demonstrated success in fundraising and donor education. The Executive Director will be responsible for managing day-to-day operations, building organizational infrastructure, and ensuring compliance with relevant requirements. Continuous performance tracking and the ability to adjust strategies based on data and feedback are essential for this role.Travel Percent
