If you want to grow your career in a progressive, team-oriented environment, apply today.About The JobThe Summer Student is responsible for the performance of the following duties in a safe and productive manner.ResponsibilitiesDaily lunchroom and change room cleaning, painting, fence building and maintenance, reclamation work, piping, running parts, stocking and inventory count, road guards for blasting Must be able to be trained in and able to operate light vehicles, and other equipment as necessaryLearns by example and explanation the procedures and methods to maintain the pads and plant solution distribution systemUnloads and stores supplies needed for plant and pad operation Assists with upkeep of plant and maintenance of a safe working environmentOther miscellaneous labor tasks as assignedRequired Qualifications & SkillsPhysical Requirements Follow all procedures and safety measures to assure safe productionWork in all conditions and environments, approximately 80% of job is outdoorsAble to lift 50 lbs. on an occasional basisAble to walk up and down slopes and uneven ground dailyWorkplace RequirementsWork as a team member and communicate openly with othersSelf-directed and able to take leadership role on many projectsWilling to stop work for safety concerns and always abide by safety best practices, policies and proceduresWork will be indoor and outdoor in all types of weatherMust be 18 years of ageThis position may require the individual to be exposed to chemicals, confined spaces, working from heights and in areas where hearing protection is recommended.Additional Information: Willing to work alternating between 5 work days, 5 days off, 4 work days, and 5 more days off.It is the policy of Coeur Mining, Inc. and its direct and indirect United States subsidiaries (the “Company”) to provide equal opportunity employment to all Employees and applicants for employment.
