The Outside Sales Representative is responsible for selling electrical power distribution products, services, and solutions within an assigned territory. Success comes from consultative selling, technical credibility, strong relationship management, and tight coordination with inside sales, engineering, and product specialists to deliver solutions that match customer needs.What you will do Territory Growth and Account ManagementMaintain and grow a well established territory through new business development and account expansionDevelop and maintain long term client relationships to drive renewals, repeat business, and customer satisfactionTarget industrial facilities, utilities, data centers, power generation sites, and electrical contractorsConsultative, Technical Sales ExecutionSell electrical testing, engineering design, manufacturing, emergency response services, and life extension solutionsPromote low and medium voltage circuit breakers, switchgear, motor control, transformers, switching systems, and legacy power apparatusPresent CBS designed products such as remote racking solutions, electrical test products, and vacuum interrupter replacement bottlesCreate and deliver technical presentations, demos, and consultations that clearly communicate valueProject Collaboration and Technical AlignmentPartner with inside sales, product specialists, and engineering to plan and execute complex upgrade projectsTranslate customer requirements into proposed solutions and manage technical aspects of the sales processSupport RFP and RFI responses and help coordinate proposal developmentCommunicate client needs to engineering and production teams to ensure delivery and satisfactionSales Cycle OwnershipManage the full sales cycle from initial outreach through purchase order and post sale supportAssist with resolving account issues including collections on overdue invoices while protecting relationshipsTrack activities and opportunities using CRM tools and maintain accurate pipeline and territory planningWhat success looks likeConsistent achievement of territory revenue and growth targetsStrong customer retention with high renewal and repeat purchase ratesClear, compelling presentations that move complex opportunities forwardAccurate scoping and solution alignment that reduces rework and increases customer confidenceStrong internal coordination that delivers projects smoothly and protects customer trustRequired SkillsConsultative selling techniquesTerritory managementCRM software proficiencyVirtual communication toolsTechnical product presentationNeeds assessment and solution developmentProposal writing and presentationNegotiation and closing techniquesTime management and self-organizationRemote work disciplineUnderstanding of electrical components and systemsClient relationship managementSales forecasting and pipeline managementCompetitive analysisProblem-solving abilitiesEffective written and verbal communicationRequired Experience What we are looking forExperience and education2 to 5 years of experience in electrical equipment salesHigh School Diploma or equivalent required, 2 year degree preferredExperience selling to industrial, utility, data center, and power generation sectorsBackground selling technical electrical products and services including circuit breakers, switchgear, and electrical distribution systemsTrack record of meeting or exceeding sales targetsExperience managing complex sales cycles and territory developmentHistory of developing and maintaining client relationships and account managementExperience collaborating with engineering and technical teamsBackground responding to RFPs and RFIs for technical productsExperience with technical product demonstrationsExperience using customer relationship management systems in a results driven environment#J-18808-Ljbffr
