Senior Agentic Full-Stack Tech Lead Contract to HireHybrid (Onsite 1–2 days/week, flexible) – Dallas, TX 75201 We are seeking a Senior Agentic Full-Stack Tech Lead to build and scale AI-native, product-focused applications. This role is centered on embedding AI directly into workflows—moving beyond simple chat experiences into agent-based systems that can take action.You will lead a pod of ~8 engineers, combining hands-on development with technical leadership, and play a key role in shaping how AI is applied to real business problems.This is not a pure management role—you’ll be expected to code, design, and guide.What You’ll Be Working OnBuilding a unified AI assistant that evolves into an action-oriented agent platformEmbedding AI into workflows to automate tasks and decision-makingDesigning systems where AI can execute actions (not just generate responses)Developing insight layers that generate behavioral analytics and user personasApplying AI to improve engineering efficiency, testing, and delivery speedKey ResponsibilitiesTechnical Leadership & DevelopmentLead design and development of scalable, cloud-native applicationsBuild full-stack solutions using React, TypeScript, and backend technologies (Python or C#)Design and implement microservices and APIsGuide architecture decisions and conduct code reviews / PR oversightEnsure systems are secure, resilient, and performantApplied AI EngineeringDesign and implement agent-based systems that take action within applicationsApply RAG (retrieval-augmented generation) and context management techniquesEmbed AI directly into product workflows (automation, decision support, etc.)Leverage AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity and code qualityEvaluate and refine AI-generated outputs in production environmentsDelivery & CollaborationLead a pod of ~8 engineers across a global team (India/Brazil)Partner closely with product owners and stakeholdersTranslate business needs into scalable technical solutionsDrive delivery in an Agile / DevOps environmentPromote best practices across CI/CD, testing, and engineering standardsRequired Qualifications8+ years of software development experienceExperience as a technical lead or senior engineer guiding teamsStrong full-stack experience with:React + TypeScriptBackend development using Python or C#Experience building APIs, microservices, and cloud-based systems (Azure preferred)Hands-on experience applying AI tools and agentic development frameworks (e.g., ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor, Copilot, OpenAI Codex, Gemini CLI, etc.)Understanding of:Agent-based architecturesRAG and context management conceptsExperience with CI/CD, GitHub, and DevOps practicesStrong communication skills and ability to work in global teamsWhat Success Looks LikeAI is seamlessly embedded into workflows—not treated as a separate featureTeams deliver high-quality, scalable software consistentlyAI-driven development improves speed, quality, and efficiencyStrong collaboration between engineering, product, and business teamsEngineers grow through hands-on leadership and mentorship
