Apigee Java Architect

Design and develop API management solutions using Apigee Edge. Architect, design, and implement RESTful APIs that meet business requirements. Develop API proxies, policies, and custom Java extensions in Apigee. Collaborate with development teams to ensure APIs are designed for scalability, security, and performance. Provide technical leadership and guidance on best practices for API development and management. Integrate APIs with backend systems and external services. Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to API performance, security, and functionality. Create and maintain documentation for API designs, implementations, and usage. Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices. Mentor and train team members on Apigee and API development techniques. Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in API management and integration. Qualifications 7+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3 years in API management using Apigee. Strong proficiency in Java and Java-based frameworks. Extensive experience with Apigee Edge, including API proxy development and policy implementation. Solid understanding of RESTful API design principles and best practices. Experience with API security, including OAuth, JWT, and API key management. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
