Hello,Dallas, TX (Local candidates preferred)In this role, you will:Lead or participate in high level technical concepts spanning technology and businessDevelop specifications for complex infrastructure systems, design and test solutionsContribute to the testing of business, application and technical infrastructure requirementsDrive solutions to reduce recoveryReview and analyze solutions for cloud security, secrets management and key rotationsDesign, code, test, debug and document programs using Agile development practicesDesign complex system upgradesResolve troublesome trends as they developDevelop a long-range plan designed to resolve problems and prevent them from recurringDirect the daily risk and control flow of operations, focusing on policies, procedures and work standards to ensure successCollaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goalsRequired Qualifications:5+ years of Technology Infrastructure Engineering and Solutions experience, or equivalent, demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education5+ years of Distributed Infrastructure and/or related IT Infrastructure experience5+ years of experience working with products related to Virtualization, Server Infrastructure, Converged/Hyper-Converged hosting.Desired Qualifications:Experience with Hypervisors: VMware, NutanixScripting and/or automation experience: Python, Ansible, PowerShellOperating Systems Knowledge: Windows, LinuxExperience leading or supporting the design, evaluation, and implementation of complex infrastructure hosting solutions and capabilities.Experience working in agile product teams in a highly regulated financial services industry.Experience with converged and/or hyper-converged infrastructure solutions at-scale in a large enterprise.Experience with virtualization and virtual hosting technologies and administration.Experience mentoring high-performing engineers.Experience with taking software/hardware products and services from inception to customer delivery.Proven experience transforming to and/or managing infrastructure functions in a product model construct, which would include participation in product roadmap planning and feature/backlog prioritization.Languages: Python, bash, PowerShell and integrating with API’sSkills around automation to include familiarity with VMWare Aria/VRA, Nutanix Calm, Ansible, and similar.Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code delivery and management.Familiarity with Cloud hosting concepts and operating models.Expert knowledge and understanding of technologies related to infrastructure engineering.Ability to help remediate tough technical support issues.Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.Strong organizational skills.Ability to work independently and as part of team on multiple overlapping projects.Ability to operate effectively in a geographically dispersed organization.Customer focused, service-oriented attitude.
