Experienced Pump Mechanic - (2nd Shift)

Job description Hydro, Inc is seeking an elite Rotating Equipment/ Pump Mechanic to join one of our Texas teams! We are Hydro, Inc., a global, industrial pump reengineering company with corporate headquarters in Chicago. As the largest independent pump reengineering aftermarket company in the world, Hydro's provided engineering expertise, pump repair, and support services to the industry since 1969. Requirements: Must have 3-5 years hands on experience performing job shop repair and assembly and disassembly including large pumps, valves, rotating equipment Responsible for assembly, disassembly, and reassembly of rotating type equipment, mainly horizontal and vertical pumps and including centrifugal pumps, compressors, fans, blowers, steam turbines, pump seals, and support systems Experience in the repair or maintenance of rotating equipment Millwright mechanic or formal training from an accredited technical college or trade school or completion of an equivalent multi-year apprenticeship program High degree of mechanical aptitude is required Read blueprints and assembly drawings Must be able to use, read, and comprehend micrometers, gauges and inspection tooling Understand the function of the individual components that comprise the pump EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION: High school diploma or equivalent 5+ years of experience as a pump mechanic or in a similar role performing disassembly, inspection, and assembly of large pumps and rotating equipment Excellent compensation, benefits, and the opportunity for professional growth 2nd shift pay differential Job Type: Full-time (in person) Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour- Salary commensurate to Experience Job Type: Full-time Pay: $32.00 - $45.00 per hour Benefits: 401(k) 401(k) matching Dental insurance Health insurance Health savings account Life insurance Paid time off Referral program Relocation assistance Vision insurance People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Experience: Mechanical: 3 years (Required) Rotating Equipment: 3 years (Required) Ability to Relocate: La Porte, TX 77571: Relocate before starting work (Required) Work Location: In person
