This role involves managing pre-operative and post-operative thoracic cases, rounding on patients daily, and covering the thoracic floor during 7a-5p shifts at a specialized thoracic-only surgery center. Responsibilities and Duties Rounding on 4-10 patients per day. Managing chest tube care. Covering the Thoracic floor for pre-operative and post-operative thoracic cases. Managing pre and post-operative patients while Surgeons and Residents are in the operating room. Focus primarily on lung and chest cases within a true thoracic-only surgery center. Additional Information EMR: Epic This is a highly specialized environment focusing strictly on thoracic surgery cases.
