CRNA degree must be accredited by the Council on Accreditation (COA) Must pass the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX) and board certifications Must hold a RN that is current, valid, active and unrestricted license to practice nursing Must have license to practice medicine in the United States, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico Must be eligibility for board certification Must be between 21 and 42 years of age Must be a U.S. citizen for Active Duty Must have permanent U.S. Residency for Reserve duty officers Outstanding Advanced Education Opportunity The U.S. Army Graduate Program in Anesthesia Nursing is a full tuition, Doctor of Nursing program offered through Baylor University. The USAGPAN program is accredited by the Council on Accreditation of Nurse Anesthesia Educational Programs (COA). Students selected are commissioned as an Active-duty Soldier and receive full pay and allowances commensurate with their rank assigned during the entire program. Applicants must have at least one year of Critical Care Nursing experience as defined by the Council of Accreditation (COA), with competitive Graduate Record Exam scores.
