The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.ResponsibilitiesProvide comprehensive care for mother and newborn in a high-risk labor and delivery setting. Utilize EPIC electronic fetal monitoring for patient evaluation. Assist with high-risk deliveries and perform neonatal care tasks, including vitamin K injections and assessments. Administer and manage medications such as Insulin and Magnesium Sulfate. Maintain readiness to float between postpartum, antepartum, and sister facilities as required. Ensure detailed documentation of patient care activities and assessments in compliance with AWHONN guidelines.QualificationsMinimum of 3-5 years of experience in a high acuity and high pace labor and delivery environment. Active BLS and NRP certifications, with preferred ACLS and AWHONN Advanced certifications. Proficient in the use of EPIC charting system and electronic fetal monitoring. Proven ability to function as Baby Nurse during delivery, providing newborn care up to postpartum transfer. Demonstrated experience in circulating for C-sections and providing couplet care.
