Table Games Manager Responsible for management and supervision of table games activities Manager Responsibilities: Yes, will directly supervise Shift Managers Duties/Responsibilities: Maintains game security and protects company assets without neglecting to provide excellent customer service. Engages guests during their play and develops relationships to create customer loyalty and repeat visits. Manages guest disputes, issues or concerns related to the department while maintaining a professional demeanor, balancing the need to protect assets and ensures regulatory compliance with guest satisfaction. Coordinates communication channels between all shifts and personnel Coordinates meetings, files, types, and enters data into computer. Composes and prepares confidential correspondence, reports, and other complex documents. Continually evaluating staffing levels according to volume of business. Enforces all games procedures and policies. Prepares necessary reports on casino and player performance Makes recommendations for policy or operational changes to ensure efficiency and compliance with regulations. Operates in accordance with operating budget. Ensures compliance with all regulatory controls both internal and external including but not limited to state and federal labor laws and the Virginia Lottery Board regulations and guidelines. Hires, trains, and manages staff in accordance with organizational and approved departmental policies, practices, and programs. Involved in all operations of the Rivers Casino Dealer Academy. Discretionary ability to extend complimentary services in accordance with the approved comp matrix. Performs all other duties as assigned. Minimum Education and Experience Requirements: Must be 21 years of age or older. Six or more years' experience in table games management (Pit Manager and above). Experience as a Table Games lead shift manager preferred Knowledge of table games math, procedures, game protection, regulations, and training requirements. Knowledge of table games, i.e.: blackjack, craps, roulette, baccarat, and specialty games. Must have strong leadership skills with a clear focus on guest service and Team Member relations as a priority. Ability to write detailed correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to staff or customers and other employees of the organization. Ability to solve problems relating to customers as well as team members Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills. Available to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays. Ability to obtain and maintain all necessary licensing. Certifications, Licenses, and/or Registrations: Able to obtain and retain gaming license/registration as required by jurisdiction(s). Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Knowledge of table games math, procedures, game protection, regulations, and training requirements. Knowledge of table games, i.e.: blackjack, craps, roulette, and specialty games. Must have strong leadership skills with a clear focus on guest service and Team Member relations as a priority. Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to staff or customers and other employees of the organization. Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations. Must possess excellent customer relations and communication skills. Able to work with others while maintaining a positive and professional demeanor. Available to work flexible shifts, weekends, and holidays. Physical Requirements: Regularly required to stand for extended periods of time. See, walk, talk, and hear as well as using hands to handle, feel and reach gaming equipment (cards, chips, dice, shuffle devices, etc.) Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Must be able to identify colors. Be able to turn your upper body at least 60 degrees. Ability to work in a noisy and smoky environment.
