Position Summary:The Director, Operational Effectiveness is responsible for leading enterprise-wide initiatives that improve productivity, reduce costs, and enhance overall business performance. This role partners across functions to analyze business processes, identify inefficiencies, implement scalable solutions, and drive a culture of continuous improvement. This is a hands-on role requiring flexibility and the ability to pivot quickly. The ideal candidate is a strategic and data-driven leader with deep experience in Lean, Six Sigma, process redesign, and operational transformation.Responsibilities:Process Improvement & Operational ExcellenceEvaluate current business processes to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks.Lead continuous improvement initiatives using Lean and Six Sigma methodologies.Design and implement standardized processes to improve efficiency and scalability. Data Analysis & Performance ManagementEstablish and monitor KPIs such as cycle time, cost per unit, and productivity.Analyze operational data to identify trends and improvement opportunities. Cost Reduction & Resource OptimizationReduce waste and eliminate non-value-added activities.Optimize labor, materials, and time utilization. Technology & AutomationImplement automation and technology solutions to streamline operations.Support digital transformation initiatives. Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, IT, and HR.Lead change management and drive adoption of improvements. Project & Program ManagementLead multiple initiatives from concept to execution.Manage timelines, stakeholders, and deliverables.Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree required; MBA preferred.Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.8+ years of relevant experience with leadership responsibility.Required Skills:Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Experience with BI and Netsuite is a plus.Expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and process improvement.Strategic thinking and communication skills. Personal accountability for delivering on commitments.Project management capabilities.
