What You'll Do As a Support Engineer, you willbe responsible forassisting the Site Manager in managing the daily activities at our refining and chemical customers. You will focus on safety initiatives at the customer sites to improve overall working conditions. You will be responsible for assisting the Site Manager with product inventory and ordering as well as equipment upkeep. Role ResponsibilitiesInclude: Review treatment programs and processes within the territory accounts ensuring effective applications through routine testing and monitoring resulting in customer satisfaction and business retention.Maintain and build business relationshipsConduct the necessary site and LMS/class roomtraining programs to understand the overalloperations of the territory accounts and new customer sitesDevelop and implement sales plans on new opportunities with the direction of the Manager Sales I/II including documenting ROI after the closure of the program. Establish, maintain and prioritize an accurate and current sales funnel in SFDC.Manage profitability of the account (pump settings, pricing, accounts receivable)Review territory applications and processes/procedures for safety improvementsWhat You'll Bring Bachelor's / Associate's Degree in Engineer or Life Sciences1+ years of successful technical sales / support experience OR successful completion of aninternship/Co-Op related to engineering or life scienceMust have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle RecordMust be able to obtain Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) from TSAMust be authorized to work in the United StatesDesired: Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering1-5 years of successful technical sales / support experienceRefining and Specialty chemical industry experienceSolid mechanical and electrical aptitude and skillsManufacturing, lab testing, maintenance and/or electrical experience preferredProficiency in MS Office programs (Word, Excel)Independent workerProblem solverCustomer focusedGood communication skills both written and oralStrong work ethicFocus on safetyWe understand that candidates will not meet every single desired qualification. The exact compensation may vary based on your skills, experience and other factors permitted by law.
