This is a full-time Business Development Manager position focused on aggressive new business acquisition, strategic customer growth, and securing master service agreements (MSAs) with new accounts. This high-impact sales role is based in West Texas and requires regular travel to target markets. The position is preferably based in Midland, Texas; Dallas, Texas; Houston, Texas; San Antonio, Texas, but we are open to other locations for highly qualified candidates. Primary responsibility is to drive new business and secure new customers. Identify and pursue strategic opportunities to secure MSAs and long-term agreements with new clients. Drive new business growth by identifying and securing large-scale projects and strategic partnerships that align with K&R's service capabilities. Build and maintain a robust pipeline of target accounts through market research, cold outreach, referrals, and industry networking. Develop relationships at the corporate and field level within key prospect organizations. Lead the end-to-end business development process including prospecting, presenting, proposing, negotiating, and closing. Maintain deep knowledge of K&R's full range of gas compression, power generation, and field services to align solutions with customer needs. Represent K&R at industry functions, conferences, and trade shows to build visibility and develop relationships with decision-makers. Collaborate with operations and leadership teams to ensure a seamless transition from business development to project execution. Monitor industry trends and competitor activity to adjust strategy and capitalize on emerging opportunities. Track activity and report regularly on progress, forecasts, and key metrics. Proven track record of success in winning new business and securing MSAs in the energy, oil & gas, or industrial services sector. Strong understanding of gas compression, power generation systems, and surface production equipment. Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven. Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to engage high-level stakeholders. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint. Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple sales opportunities simultaneously. Willingness to travel and work extended hours as needed. Must present a professional image and represent the company with integrity. Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Engineering, Technology, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of business development or strategic sales experience, with at least 5 years in the natural gas industry. Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English. Must have a valid driver's license and be able to maintain an acceptable driving record. Required to drive long distances and travel by air when necessary.
