You’ll work closely with customers, manufacturer reps, and our internal teams to turn needs into engineered solutions that deliver real value.In This Role, You WillDevelop accurate, timely proposals in partnership with Sales, Engineering, and Production teamsAnalyze customer applications and recommend the right product sizing, configuration, and performance solutionsManage and support the quoting process, CRM (HubSpot), and sales-related documentationPartner with customers throughout the sales cycle—from initial inquiry to final orderTranslate customer needs into detailed order packages for Engineering and ProductionSupport engineer-to-order projects and serve as a technical resource across the organizationProvide technical support to outside sales, manufacturer reps, and service teamsContribute to new product development efforts as the voice of the customerAssist with marketing materials, sales training content, and internal knowledge sharingTravel occasionally for customer visits, trade shows, and industry eventsWhat You BringYou’re a problem solver with a strong technical foundation and a passion for working directly with customers. You enjoy digging into details, asking the right questions, and finding solutions that work in the real world.Required3+ years of relevant experience in engineering, technical sales, or applications engineeringStrong communication and customer engagement skillsAbility to interpret technical specifications, drawings, and application requirementsExperience working cross-functionally with sales, engineering, and operations teamsProficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM/ERP systemsPreferredBachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Chemical, or Process EngineeringExperience in B2B technical sales environmentsExperience in Oil & Gas industryFamiliarity with manufacturer representative channels or international salesAbility to read and interpret P&IDs and technical drawingsWho You AreAt Sentry, we look for team members who bring both capability and character.
