Legal Assistant Employment Litigation
A leading national law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Legal Assistant to join its Labor & Employment team in Los Angeles. This hybrid role supports busy attorneys handling complex employment litigation matters in both state and federal court. The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a fast-paced law firm environment.Hybrid schedule requiring 2.5 days per week in-office (two set in-office days plus rotating Fridays).ResponsibilitiesSupport attorneys in all phases of labor & employment litigationPrepare, revise, and finalize legal documents and correspondenceHandle state and federal court filings, including extensive PACER filingsManage calendars, deadlines, and case-related schedulingCreate and edit Tables of Contents and Tables of Authorities using Best AuthorityMaintain and organize electronic files within the firm's document management systemCoordinate filings, service, and case logistics across multiple mattersAssist with trial preparation and other administrative litigation support tasksQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of labor & employment litigation experience in a law firm environmentMinimum of 5 years of federal court filing/PACER experienceExperience with EEOC filings, workers comp filings, and appeals is a plusStrong knowledge of CaseAnywhereExperience using Best Authority for TOCs/TOAsFamiliarity with document management systems, preferably iManage (NetDocuments or similar platforms also considered)Strong attention to detail and ability to manage competing deadlinesExcellent communication and organizational skillsCompensation:$100,000-$120,000 per year
