This is a contract opportunity with an initial duration of three months and the potential to extend further.This role offers competitive pay along with a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, retirement, and additional employee programs.Overview:Take full ownership of day-to-day operations across the Machine Shop, Production, Purchasing, Planning, and Scheduling departments.Build and execute manufacturing schedules that align with sales demand and available plant capacity.Identify inefficiencies across departments and lead efforts to eliminate waste and improve output.Keep a close eye on materials and inventory to prevent shortages and reduce excess.Track key operational metrics and use the data to cut costs and improve the customer experience.Serve as a central communication hub between leadership, staff, and outside vendors.Translate company goals into clear priorities and make sure the plant is moving in the right direction.Take initiative on both short-term operational wins and longer-term strategic improvements.Requirements:3+ years of proven experience in an operations management role.Hands-on experience managing machine shop, production, purchasing, planning, and scheduling functions.Working knowledge and practical application of Lean and/or Six Sigma methodologies.Strong leadership, delegation, and communication skills.Proficient in Microsoft Office — Word, Excel, and Outlook.BAM Workforce Solutions is committed to full compliance with all Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and affirmative action laws and regulations.
