Role: JAVA /J2EE Solution Architect (Cloud, AI & Platform Engineering) Location: Irvine CA (Onsite-Hybrid)Term: ContractWe are looking for a hands-on Java/J2EE Solution Architect with strong expertise in Spring Boot, Microservices, Production Support, Cloud Architecture, Kafka, PostgreSQL, and AI/GenAI solutions. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing scalable enterprise platforms, leading cloud-native transformations, resolving critical production issues, and driving AI-powered solutions including RAG implementations.Key ResponsibilitiesArchitect and design enterprise applications using Java, J2EE, Spring Boot, Spring Cloud, and Microservices.Lead application modernization and cloud migration initiatives across AWS, Azure, or GCP.Design and implement event-driven architectures using Kafka/Confluent.Provide technical leadership across development, deployment, and production support teams.Troubleshoot complex production issues involving application performance, integrations, databases, middleware, and cloud infrastructure.Perform root cause analysis using logs, JVM metrics, thread dumps, heap dumps, and monitoring tools.Design and oversee CI/CD pipelines, containerization, and deployment strategies using Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and related DevOps tools.Build AI-enabled solutions leveraging LLMs, RAG frameworks, Vector Databases, Semantic Search, and AI Agents.Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to translate requirements into scalable technology solutions.A technically strong architect capable of owning the end-to-end lifecycle—from solution architecture and cloud deployment to production stability, platform modernization, Kafka-based integrations, PostgreSQL optimization, and AI/RAG solution implementation.
