Details Orthopedic/Trauma Med/Surg unit (6A) in a 772-bed acute care teaching hospital Level 2 Trauma Center, Comprehensive Stroke Center, and Chest Pain Center 34-bed unit with a 1:5–6 nurse-to-patient ratio 12-hour night shifts 13-week contract Block scheduling cannot be accommodated Requirements Active FL RN license or Compact RN license currently in hand Current BLS certification required Minimum 2 years of clinical RN experience required Minimum 2 years of Orthopedic/Trauma or Med/Surg specialty experience required At least one prior travel nursing assignment required Two professional references dated within the last 12 months required for consideration Skills checklist dated within the last 12 months required for consideration Additional Information Orientation is held every Monday Local candidates are accepted, with the exception of those with a permanent address in Tallahassee No more than 4 days of RTO will be approved, and no holiday RTO will be granted Interviews are conducted through IVS interview services American Traveler Job ID P-687510.
