Assembly Operator IThe Assembly Operator is responsible for assembling small component parts used in water softener production. This role ensures components are assembled accurately, safely and efficiently according to established work instructions and quality standards.Responsibilities:Assemble small water softener components following standard work instructions and visual aidsUse hand tools and basic assembly equipment to complete tasks accuratelyPerform visual quality checks on parts during and after assemblyIdentify and report defective parts, quality issues or equipment concerns to the Team LeadMeet daily production goals while maintaining quality and safety standardsMaintain a clean, organized and safe workstation in accordance with 5S guidelinesFollow all plant and safety policies, work rules and PPE requirementsSupport other assembly or production areas as neededQualifications:Ability to follow written and verbal instructionsAbility to perform repetitive tasks in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentDependable attendance and strong work ethicGood attention to detailManufacturing or assembly experience is a plus, but not requiredEducation: High School Diploma or GEDPhysical Requirements: Prolonged periods of sitting/standing and frequent bending and reaching.
