In this dynamic leadership role, you assist the Pool Manager in maintaining a safe, welcoming, and guest-focused environment. Your contributions help drive operational efficiency, support team performance, and uphold service standards that directly enhance the guest experience and align with company values.Job Description:Essential Functions and ResponsibilitiesSupport the Pool Manager in recruiting, onboarding, coaching, and evaluating team members to ensure engagement, performance, and adherence to company service standardsAssist in the execution of strategic and operational plans by helping organize staff, monitor goals, and ensure timely completion of tasksHelp maintain and reinforce established service standards across all assigned areas, ensuring consistently positive guest interactionsCollaborate in planning and executing guest engagement experiences (e.g., themed events, VIP cabana offerings) that drive satisfaction and repeat visitationOversee daily cabana operations and reservations, ensuring smooth service delivery and guest satisfaction while supporting revenue goalsConduct routine safety and sanitation checks and assist in responding to incidents, completing necessary documentation to ensure a compliant and safe environmentRespond promptly and professionally to guest concerns or service recovery needs, escalating critical issues to the Pool Manager as necessaryAssist in maintaining inventory levels and equipment for pool and submitting requisitions as neededSupport accurate reporting through POS systems, payroll submissions, and operational logsPromote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and excellence by modeling company values and supporting peer leadership developmentHelp maintain and update departmental procedure manuals and job aids under the direction of the Pool ManagerEnsure compliance with all applicable gaming laws and company internal controls, policies and procedures, Title 31, and federal regulations, if they apply to the positionProvide outstanding guest service in a timely manner to both guests and fellow team members that meets the company's guest service culture standardsPerform other duties as assignedQualificationsMinimum of three (3) years of experience in a pool,or Food Beverage environment, including supervisory or lead responsibilitiesFamiliarity with pool operations, guest service practices, safety compliance, and basic food beverage serviceStrong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to lead by example and motivate team membersProficient in basic computer systems including Microsoft Word, Excel, and POS platforms; experience with Infogenesis preferredStrong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and respond to shifting prioritiesDemonstrated ability to resolve problems and make sound decisions under pressureRequirementsThis position is classified as safety-sensitive and requires successful completion of a pre-employment drug screening, including testing for marijuana.At least 21 Years of AgeHigh School Diploma or Equivalent requiredAbility to effectively communicate in English, both written and verbalObtain and maintain all work cards as required by the companyVerify right to work in the United StatesWork CardsNevada Gaming RegistrationHealth CardAlcohol Awareness CardCPR/First Aid CertificationLifeguard CertificationPhysical RequirementsOccasionally push/pull up to 50 lbs.Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 50 lbs. at floor, knee, waist, and chest levelsFrequently squat, kneel, reach, bend, and twist to inspect equipment or assist staff as neededRegularly sit and work at a desk or computer for extended periods during administrative tasksRegularly stand and walk throughout the pool, fitness, and resort areas to monitor operations and guest safetyAbility to communicate clearly in person, via two-way radios, and telephone systemsAbility to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and sounds in a noisy environmentAbility to distinguish between various shades of color, important for water clarity, safety signage, and inventory managementAbility to operate tools and equipment requiring fine motor skills and dexterityWork Environment Potential ConditionsIndoorOutdoorSmokyNoisyBright flashing lightsExtreme hot cold temperaturesSlippery surfacesExposure to dust, fumes and/or gasesDisclaimerThe above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by people assigned to this classification.
