Plastics Extrusion Operator: 3rd Shift

Super Brush LLC is a family-owned manufacturer in Springfield, MA. We offer competitive compensation and a generous benefits package. 3rd shift M-Th 10pm - 6:30am, F 9:45pm - 6:15am. Candidates must have at least 2 years plastics machine operating experience. Job Type: Full-time Pay: From $20.70/hr (includes 15% shift differential) About Job: Perform job duties that include operating equipment, monitoring process, an inspection of the product, and final pack-out to ensure the product meets specifications and is manufactured at standard production rates. Operate machinery in a proper and safe manner, and verify the machine is running at a standard production rate. Monitor and record critical process parameters on the process variation log. Inspect product for visual attributes and part dimensions with proper gauges. Document on traceability record. Notify Plastics Technician or Plastics Manager of any problems with part quality or machine performance. Package, verify count on part counting scale, label, and number each box from the work order. Move product to staging area awaiting final approval from quality. Monitor material levels and replace empty containers as necessary. Verify and document raw material part number and lot number against work order BOM and pick list. Perform general maintenance tasks as required. Ensure good housekeeping standards are maintained in the work area. Abide by all regulations, policies, and work procedures. Comply with company policies relative to regular attendance and punctuality. Comply with all safety requirements. Perform all other related tasks as required.
