This role is the primary owner of the guest lodging experience, from pre-arrival communication through checkout, ensuring every guest receives a seamless, high-quality, and memorable stay.Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Lodging Manager will oversee guest services, unit readiness, housekeeping coordination, maintenance needs, and revenue opportunities related to lodging inventory. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of a large-scale lodging operation, work in a dynamic venue environment, and directly impact guest satisfaction and operational success.Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Experience & Customer ServiceServe as the primary point of contact for lodging guests before, during, and after their stayEnsure a top-tier guest experience that aligns with Rocker B Ranch brand standardsRespond promptly and professionally to guest questions, concerns, and special requestsResolve guest issues quickly and effectively, escalating when necessaryCollect and share guest feedback to continuously improve lodging operationsLodging Operations & Inventory ManagementOversee all lodging operations for 134 units, ensuring cleanliness, readiness, and consistencyManage unit assignments, availability, and occupancy in coordination with events and ranch activitiesActively sell and promote vacant units during weekends or periods of open inventoryCoordinate check-in and check-out processes to ensure smooth guest transitionsHousekeeping & Cleaning ManagementManage and coordinate cleaning schedules for all lodging unitsEnsure housekeeping standards are met and units are guest-ready at all timesConduct regular inspections of units to ensure cleanliness and qualityCommunicate with cleaning teams regarding priorities, special requests, and scheduling changesMaintenance & RepairsIdentify, track, and prioritize maintenance and repair needs across all lodging unitsCoordinate with maintenance staff or vendors to ensure timely repairsPerform regular walk-throughs and inspections to proactively address issuesMaintain records of repairs, maintenance needs, and unit conditionAdministrative & Reporting ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate lodging records, schedules, and operational documentationProvide regular updates and reports to the General Manager regarding occupancy, issues, and guest feedbackAssist with budgeting, cost control, and operational efficiencies related to lodgingSupport policy development and process improvements for lodging operationsQualifications & Skills5+ years of experience in hospitality, lodging, hotel, resort, or property management preferredStrong customer service mindset with excellent communication skillsHighly organized with strong attention to detailAbility to manage multiple priorities and adapt to changing needsComfortable handling guest-facing situations and problem resolutionBasic understanding of maintenance coordination and housekeeping operationsProficient in scheduling, inventory management, and basic computer systemsAbility to work weekends, holidays, and event-driven schedules as needed
