If you're ready to grow and make an impact, we'd love to be on our team.The Inside Sales & Applications Intern will gain hands-on experience supporting both customer-facing sales activities and technical pre-sales processes. This role provides exposure to the full lifecycle of a customer opportunity-from initial inquiry through quote development and order support-while working closely with Inside Account Managers, Outside Account Managers, and Applications teams.How you'll make an impact:Customer & Order SupportAssist with acknowledging and processing customer Requests for Quotes (RFQs) and Purchase Orders (POs)Support customer communication, including quote follow-ups and order status updatesPartner with Inside and Outside Account Managers to support customer relationships and account growthPre-Sales & Technical SupportLearn to review customer requirements and identify missing or critical informationAssist in preparing quotes aligned with customer specifications and business requirementsSupport basic product selection, configuration, and solution developmentCollaborate with internal teams and technology partners to understand how solutions are developed and deliveredBusiness Operations & Process ImprovementSupport sales forecasting, data tracking, and account analysisHelp document customer requirements, assumptions, and quote detailsIdentify opportunities to improve processes, responsiveness, and customer experienceSkills you'll need:Strong communication skills (verbal and written)Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teamsStrong organization, prioritization, and time management skillsAbility to adapt in a fast-paced, high-volume environmentWillingness to learn, take initiative, and ask questionsAbility to manage multiple tasks and shifting prioritiesHere's what will set you apart:Pursuing a degree in Business, Engineering, Industrial Distribution, Supply Chain, or related fieldInterest in technical sales, industrial automation, process technology, or engineering applicationsPrevious internship, co-op, or leadership experienceAnalytical mindset and comfort working with data or technical conceptsDemonstrated curiosity and problem-solving abilityWhat you can expect:Hands-on, real-world experience supporting meaningful workExposure to both commercial (sales) and technical (applications) career pathsMentorship from experienced sales and engineering professionalsOpportunity to build relationships across the businessPotential pathway to a full-time role after graduationEqual Opportunity Employer/Protected Veterans/Individuals with Disabilities
