Every challenge creates possibilities, and we need different perspectives to see them all.We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Controller to oversee the day-to-day financial operations of our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of accounting principles, experience with payroll and bookkeeping software, and excellent communication skills. The Controller will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth functioning of our financial processes and maintaining accurate financial records.Responsibilities:Employee Onboarding: Manage the onboarding process for new employees, including collection and verification of required documents, payroll setup, and benefits enrollment.Payments: Process wires to contractors and employees, ensuring timely and accurate payments in compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.Payroll: Manage all aspects of payroll processing, including data entry, deductions, and reporting. Ensure compliance with federal and state payroll laws.Cash Management: Monitor cash flow, reconcile bank accounts, and prepare cash flow forecasts. Manage cash reserves and investments to optimize liquidity and returns.Bookkeeping: Maintain accurate and organized financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger. Prepare monthly financial statements and reconciliations.Correspondence: Handle basic IRS and state correspondence, including notices, letters, and inquiries.Administrative Support: Provide administrative support for various accounting and finance tasks, such as preparing invoices, processing expense reports ,Processing payments and maintaining files.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance2+ years of experience in a Controller or similar roleStrong knowledge of accounting principles and practicesProficient in QuickBooks or other accounting softwareExperience with payroll processing Excellent communication and interpersonal skillsStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAdditional Skills :Experience with multiple business entitiesKnowledge of relevant industry regulationsCompensation and Benefits:Competitive salary commensurate with experienceComprehensive benefits package including health, dental, and vision insurance401(k) retirement plan with company matchPaid time off and holidaysProfessional development opportunitiesJob Type: Full-timePay: $75,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
