Instructor: Community Education Classes

Ulster BOCES Adult Education is seeking individuals who have a skill they would like to teach others. Classes may be held in the IPark Facility in Kingston, typically between Mondays and Thursdays, between 5pm and 9pm. You should prepare an agenda and plan for what you would like to teach. One of our career counselors will reach out to you. This is a non-benefitted position and fingerprinting is required.Rate of Pay $28.00/HourGeneral ResponsibilitiesCommunity Education instructors bring their unique experience to the courses they are teaching. They are expected to be available 15 minutes prior to the class and prepare their classroom for instruction. Classes may include cooking, language classes, computer classes, music classes, photography, sewing or recreational games to name a few.Work ScheduleGenerally, between 5:00pm and 9:00pm, weeknightsSpecific DutiesEnsure schedule is confirmed with the Adult Education office.Provide instruction for the agreed upon hoursPrepare an agenda for the course instructionCollect sign-in sheets from the office and ensure that they are completed, returning them to the office.Ensure all paperwork is completed
