Marketing Coordinator
About Red Cedar Homes:Red Cedar Homes is a private homebuilder and land developer headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina, with a regional office in Greenville, South Carolina. We design, build, and sell homes across Charlotte and surrounding markets and throughout the South Carolina Upstate — and we are growing across the Carolinas. We are operator-owned, capital-disciplined, and growing fast — which means the people who join us actually get to build something. Our brand competes for attention with national builders many times our size. We win by being sharper, faster, and better-told. The Marketing Coordinator role exists because that storytelling — across our houses, our communities, and our investment offerings — needs another set of capable hands. The Role...You will work directly with our Director of Sales & Marketing, supporting two related but distinct fronts:• The consumer side — marketing our homes and communities to buyers, realtors, and the public.• The capital side — supporting our investor relations team in marketing upcoming projects and investment opportunities to current and prospective investors. This is a hands-on, production-oriented seat. You will create content, ship campaigns, design assets, and learn the homebuilding and real estate investment business from the inside. You will also be a primary owner of the AI and automation tooling we use to make our marketing punch above its weight. What You'll Do...• Own day-to-day execution across our social media channels — Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, TikTok, YouTube — including content calendars, posting, community engagement, and reporting.• Produce marketing assets for active listings, model homes, communities, and grand openings — flyers, brochures, signage, social graphics, listing kits, email creative.• Capture and edit photo and video content from job sites, model homes, and community events.• Build and ship investor-facing marketing collateral — project announcements, opportunity teasers, capital raise updates, deck refreshes — in coordination with our Investor Relations team.• Use AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, Midjourney, Canva AI, Runway, and others we adopt) to accelerate content creation, design, copywriting, and analysis. Bring new tools to us when you find them.• Help maintain the RCH brand standard across every external touchpoint — website, listing portals, signage, email, social, investor decks.• Track campaign performance, lead flow, and engagement; report what's working and what isn't.• Coordinate with realtors, photographers, videographers, and outside vendors as needed.Who We're Looking For...This role is built for a recent graduate or early-career marketer who is hungry, sharp, and wants to learn the trade inside a real operating company rather than a coffee shop or a content farm.• Strong social media instincts — you understand what good looks like on Instagram, TikTok, and LinkedIn, and you can produce it, not just describe it.• Working graphic design ability — Canva, Adobe Express, Figma, or the Adobe Creative Suite. You can take a brief and ship clean, on-brand creative.• A high desire to learn and apply AI-based tools to marketing, design, and operations. We are not looking for an expert — we are looking for someone who is genuinely excited to live on the frontier and bring the rest of the team with them.• Strong written communication — you can write a clean caption, a short blog post, an investor update, or a property description without needing it rewritten.• Photo and video literacy — comfortable shooting on a phone or camera, and editing in CapCut, Premiere, Lightroom, or equivalent. Formal training not required.• Organized and reliable — you hit deadlines, manage a content calendar, and don't let things slip.• Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, journalism, business, design, or a related field — or a portfolio that makes the degree question moot.Bonus Points For...• Real estate, homebuilding, or construction exposure — even informally.• Experience running paid social or paid search campaigns.• Familiarity with HubSpot, Mailchimp, or comparable CRM and email platforms.• A personal brand or side project that shows us how you think and create.• Comfort using Notion, Asana, or similar project management tools. What We Offer...• A real seat at a growing company, not a junior role buried three layers deep.• Direct mentorship from our Director of Sales & Marketing and exposure to founders, investors, and the broader leadership team.• Permission and a budget to push into AI and automation tooling — and to make the team better because of it.• Competitive base salary of $45,000–$60,000 plus health insurance, 401(k) with company matching, paid time off, and paid holidays.• A clear runway: this seat is built to grow into senior marketing or investor relations roles as RCH scales. How to Apply:Send the following to Jenny at [jreyes@redcedarhomes.com]:• Resume.• A short note (no cover letter required) telling us why this role, what you'd want to learn, and one AI tool you've used recently and what you used it for.• Three to five examples of your work — social posts, graphic design, photo or video, written pieces, school projects, anything that shows us what you can do. A link to a portfolio, Instagram, or Google Drive folder is fine.We read every application. Strong candidates will hear from us within a week.
