Creative Marketing Manager

Reports to: Chief Marketing OfficerWork Location: Tom & Sherry Koski LaunchPad, 2000 Webber St Ste 130, Sarasota, FLPOSITION SUMMARYThe Creative Marketing Manager is responsible for executing the Education Foundation’s marketing and engagement efforts across digital and print platforms, with a primary focus on social media, content distribution, and audience engagement.As a key member of a collaborative Marketing & Engagement team, this role leads day-to-day execution of marketing initiatives that support fundraising, student and educator programs, and community initiatives such as PLANit Sarasota.This position plays a critical role in ensuring the Foundation effectively reaches and engages diverse audiences, including donors, students, families, educators, and community partners, through clear, compelling, and audience-appropriate content.The ideal candidate is creative, highly organized, and adaptable, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and translate strategy into effective execution across channels. He/she will demonstrate an orientation to nonprofit service and a passion for supporting students and teachers, upholding the Education Foundation’s vision to prepare each and every student for life.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESSocial Media Strategy and EngagementLead execution of the Foundation’s social media presence across platforms, including content planning, creation, scheduling, posting, and daily engagement.Develop and implement social media campaigns that support fundraising, program visibility, and community engagement.Manage paid and organic social media efforts to expand reach and audience growth.Monitor engagement and performance, adjusting content and approach based on analytics and audience response.Creative Brand ManagementProtect and adhere to brand guidelines to ensure consistency across all channels.Create and manage print and digital marketing assets, graphics and layouts, ensuring they are visually appealing and on brand.Ensure visual content needs are met, whether through video, photography, or graphics.Assist in implementing email, digital, and print campaigns aligned with organizational priorities.Website & Digital PlatformsManage the execution, formatting, and publishing of website content, ensuring pages are visually engaging, user-friendly, and aligned with brand standards.Implement updates to website pages, landing pages, and event listings in coordination with the Communications & Storytelling Manager.Support layout, structure, and user experience of website content to ensure accessibility and ease of navigation.Cross-Functional CollaborationPartner with Strategy & Impact to support program visibility and engagement for student and educator initiatives.Collaborate with Development & Campaign to execute marketing efforts tied to fundraising priorities.Work with Collaboration (PLANit Sarasota) to support communication and visibility of community initiatives.Coordinate marketing requests and manage workflow through project management systems.Audience-Centered Content & CommunicationDevelop and adapt content to effectively reach multiple audiences, including students, families, educators, donors, and community partners.Ensure messaging is clear, accessible, and aligned with audience needs across platforms.Performance & Continuous ImprovementTrack and report on performance across social media, digital campaigns, and engagement channels.Use data and feedback to refine strategies and improve effectiveness over time.Seek learning opportunities to developprofessional knowledge and skills.EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONSBachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of relevant experience in marketing, communications, or a related field.3–5+ years of experience in marketing, social media, or digital engagement roles.Demonstrated experience managing social media platforms and executing digital campaigns.Strong ability to adapt messaging for different audiences and communication styles.Experience creating appealing graphic designs with design tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Suite) and content creation.Familiarity with website platforms (e.g., WordPress) and email marketing tools (e.g., Constant Contact).Strong organizational and project management skills.Working knowledge of marketing analytics and performance tracking.Ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.A deep understanding of the wide variety of marketing channels.Education Foundation Core ValuesAt the Education Foundation of Sarasota County, we are guided by our core values: I CARE about ITIntegrityCandorAccountabilityRespectEngagementImprovementThoughtful InnovationAbout the Education Foundation of Sarasota CountyWith more than 35 years of experience, the Education Foundation of Sarasota County clears the path for students to graduate and go further.
