Senior Google Cloud Engineer

Job Description Dark Wolf is looking for a Senior Google Cloud Engineer. Dark Wolf's Google Cloud Engineers are responsible for designing, implementing, and managing Google Cloud Platform (GCP) solutions for our customers. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of GCP services and technologies, as well as experience in designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutions.Responsibilities:Drive and implement technology solutions on Google CloudWork with customers, partners, and internal project team members to understand customer business requirements and translate into actionable engineering tasksDevelop and maintain infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools such as TerraformConfigure and manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, and Cloud SQLArchitect and implement security best practices for GCP solutions using products such as Assured Workloads, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Security Command CenterStay up-to-date on the latest GCP services and technologies and their applicability to the Public Sector spaceQualifications:Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field10+ years of experience in cloud computing5+ years of experience with GCPStrong understanding of Google Cloud services and technologiesExperience leading technical teams including delegating tasks, reviewing designs and completed tasks by team members, and coaching junior team membersExperience designing and implementing scalable, reliable, and secure cloud solutionsExperience developing technical architecture documents, driving design decisions, developing documentation artifacts, and presenting technical solutions to clients and executive level leadersExperience with infrastructure automation using IaC tools such as TerraformStrong understanding of DevOps practices and experience implementing CI/CD in cloud environmentsExcellent communication and teamwork skillsAbility to work collaboratively with the broader team as well as independentlyUS Citizenship and security clearance eligibilityPreferred Qualifications:At least one Google Cloud Professional CertificationExperience working within Agile teamsExperience working with Google Cloud compliance products such as Security Command Center and Assured WorkloadsExperience working with customers in the U.S. Public SectorU.S. Federal Government security clearanceExperience with DoD/DISA cybersecurity policiesThis position will be a hybrid role based out of multiple hubs including: Herndon, VA, Tampa, FL, Huntsville, AL, Colorado Springs, CO, Ogden, UT, and Omaha, NE.The salary range for this position is estimated to be between $150,000.00 - $180,000.00, commensurate on experience and technical skillset.We are proud to be an EEO/AA employer Minorities/Women/Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories.In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
