Job SummaryThe Nurse Administrator is responsible for the overall leadership, management, and coordination of Health Services, including Home Health, Assisted Living, Supportive Living, and Short-Term Rehabilitation.This role ensures the delivery of high-quality, compassionate, and evidence-based care aligned with the organization's mission, values, and strategic goals. The Nurse Administrator operates within a broader organizational framework, translating values into daily operations to drive efficiency, effectiveness, and excellence in care delivery.The position oversees clinical nursing practices, develops and manages healthcare programs and services, and ensures compliance with all regulatory and professional standards. It also plays a key role in workforce planning, financial management, and continuous improvement initiatives.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and oversight for all Health Services functions across multiple care settingsEnsure delivery of high-quality, patient-centered care aligned with organizational goalsOversee and support evidence-based clinical nursing practicesDevelop, implement, and evaluate healthcare policies, programs, and servicesLead annual budgeting and workforce planning processesDrive staff recruitment, engagement, and retention strategiesConduct environmental assessments and forecast healthcare trendsMentor and support staff while promoting organizational valuesManage resources effectively to ensure operational efficiencyEnsure compliance with nursing standards, regulations, and accreditation requirementsFoster strong relationships with residents, families, and stakeholdersLead or participate in committees supporting Health Services and organizational initiativesRequired Skills & ExperienceMinimum of three (3) years of nursing service administration experience with direct management responsibilitiesProven ability to work independently and make informed decisionsStrong communication and interpersonal skillsExcellent problem-solving and analytical abilitiesAbility to prioritize tasks and manage complex informationExperience managing teams and healthcare operationsAdaptability in dynamic and high-pressure environmentsFlexibility with work schedules as neededAbility to function effectively across clinical, administrative, and leadership rolesPreferred Skills & ExperienceExperience in long-term care, home health, or acute care settingsStrong background in senior living environmentsEducation RequirementsRequired:Master's degree in Nursing ORBachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) with a Master's degree in Business or a related healthcare fieldCandidates currently pursuing the required degree may be considered, with completion expected within six (6) months of application.Licensure & CertificationsRequired:Current RN License (Minnesota or eligible state licensure)Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)Basic Life Support (BLS) CertificationEligibility for TN sponsorship (including VisaScreen or equivalent, if applicable)Preferred:Nursing Home Administrator or Assisted Living Licensure (or willingness to obtain within one year)Gerontological CertificationLanguage RequirementsEnglish (Reading, Writing, Speaking)
