The role requires flexible weekend scheduling and a commitment to supporting patient care needs on the IRF unit.Job Details:Location: Bradenton, FloridaSchedule: Day shift, with a minimum of 40 hours per week, shift hours are 10 hours eachRequired Qualifications: Active occupational therapy license, active BLS certification, zero years of experience required, candidate must be flexible with weekend availability and willing to work on an inpatient rehabilitation unit.Preferred Qualifications: Hospital or inpatient rehabilitation facility experience, stroke/neuro experience, willingness to work on IRF unit, teamwork and collaboration skills.Additional Information: This role involves working in two therapy gyms and an ADL apartment, with expectations to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital staff. The unit services a 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility and a 383-bed acute care hospital, with a staff of 15 occupational therapists.Unit Details: Therapy staff services the entire facility; patient ratios are approximately 4 patients/day in IRF and 8-12 patients/day in acute care.
