Travel Occupational Therapist (OT) in Bradenton, FL

Occupational Therapist Location: Bradenton, FL Agency: SnapCare Pay: Competitive weekly pay (inquire for details) Shift Information: Rotating Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Opportunity: OT Job Details: • Provide occupational therapy services throughout the entire facility including both acute care and inpatient rehabilitation units • Work with patient ratios of 4 patients per day in IRF unit and 8-12 patients per day in acute care • Perform evaluations, treatments, and discharge planning • Conduct team conferences and family training sessions • Utilize adaptive devices and adaptive equipment • Weekend flexibility required with minimum of 1 weekend shift per month • Expected to work every other weekend and holidays in rotation with hospital employees • Active OT license and active BLS certification required • Hospital/IRF experience highly preferred • Stroke/neuro experience preferred • Must be willing to work on IRF unit • RN scrubs should be navy blue, clinical support staff wear caribbean blue • Access to 2 therapy gyms and ADL apartment • EMR system: Meditech • Parking available in parking garage Facility: This Level II Trauma Center is a comprehensive healthcare facility featuring 383 acute care beds with an average census of 240 patients, plus a specialized 28-bed inpatient rehabilitation facility. The hospital employs 15 occupational therapists across full-time, part-time, and PRN positions.
