Bridgeport Fittings has been serving tradesmen with quality components since 1925. Bridgeport Fittings is seeking and experienced Plant Supervisor in Stratford, CT to oversee production processes, ensure smooth operations and monitor work quality in a dynamic manufacturing environment. This position is a 2nd shift position (3:45 pm - 11:45 pm)The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, problem solving abilities and have a keen eye for quality. If you have a passion for production and a detail-oriented mind, this role could be the perfect fit for you.Key responsibilities:Deliver results in safety, quality, production efficiency and timely deliveryImplement and maintain initiatives that ensure a safe work environment for all employeesLead employees in all departments to achieve production goalsCollaborate with the team to improve efficiency and qualityDevelop key manufacturing personnelDrive culture of continuous improvementComplete reports and documentation as requiredManage employee timecards and time off requestsRequirements:Spanish Bilingual High school diploma or equivalentExperience in manufacturing/distribution with 3+ years in supervisory/management rolesStrong leadership, organizational and problem-solving skillsKnowledge of manufacturing workflowExcellent English communication skills, Bilingual (English/Spanish) is desirableADP/Payroll knowledge beneficialExperience with MS Office suiteStrong communicator, listener, negotiator and facilitatorAbility to understand and communicate complex concepts across all company levelsHighly motivated, adaptable and a risk takerEnvironment:While performing this job, the employee is routinely required to stand, walk, use their hands and fingers for handling and feeling, reach with their arms and hand and communicate verbally.
