This is a senior-level, hands-on engineering role responsible for maintaining highly available infrastructure environments while contributing to modernization, stability, and operational excellence initiatives.This opportunity is ideal for an experienced infrastructure engineer who thrives in complex enterprise environments and enjoys working across both systems and networking disciplines.Key ResponsibilitiesAdminister, maintain, and optimize enterprise infrastructure environments including virtualization, storage, and networking platformsDeploy and support VMware, VxRail, and NAS/storage solutionsDesign, configure, and troubleshoot Layer 2 and Layer 3 network infrastructureManage routing and switching technologies including BGP, OSPF, VLANs, spanning tree, static routing, and EtherChannel/LACPConfigure and maintain enterprise firewall environments including VPNs, NAT policies, and security rulesTroubleshoot WAN/LAN connectivity, fiber, routing, and network performance issuesManage SSL/TLS certificates and support PKI/Certificate Authority administrationPartner with internal security teams on vulnerability remediation, segmentation, and infrastructure hardening initiativesAdminister Windows Server environments with focus on performance, resiliency, and high availabilityManage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and domain controller replicationSupport clustering technologies for file services and SQL environmentsMaintain Hybrid Exchange environments including mailbox administration and mail flow managementImplement and support patch management, endpoint deployment, and device management solutionsLead backup, business continuity, and disaster recovery efforts using enterprise backup platformsSupport internal IT infrastructure including desktops, laptops, printers, telephony, and core enterprise servicesCollaborate with service desk and infrastructure teams to resolve escalated technical issues and perform root cause analysisContribute to infrastructure documentation, operational standards, and process improvement initiativesRequired Qualifications5+ years of experience in Systems Administration, Infrastructure Engineering, or Systems Engineering rolesStrong hands-on experience supporting enterprise infrastructure and networking environmentsExperience with: Windows Server environmentsActive Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group PolicyVMware and virtualization technologiesEnterprise networking and routing/switchingFirewall administration (Palo Alto and/or Meraki preferred)Hybrid Exchange environmentsBackup and disaster recovery solutionsSSL/TLS certificate management and PKI conceptsScripting or automation experience using PowerShell, Python, SQL, or similar technologiesExperience with endpoint management and deployment platforms such as Intune, PDQ, or similar toolsStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in complex enterprise environmentsBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or equivalent professional experiencePreferred QualificationsExperience supporting legal, financial, healthcare, or other highly regulated environmentsFamiliarity with enterprise business applications and document management systemsIndustry certifications such as CCNA, CCIE, CISSP, VMware, Microsoft, or related infrastructure/security certificationsWork EnvironmentCollaborative infrastructure engineering team with significant technical ownershipOpportunity to work across enterprise systems, networking, virtualization, and security initiativesHybrid work flexibility available following onboarding periodStable, long-term environment with exposure to enterprise-scale infrastructure projects
