Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.What You'll Be DoingOperate a full concrete/asphalt recycling plant including jaw and HSI crushers, multi‑deck screens, magnets, and conveyor systems.Manage plant sequencing, adjust crusher settings and feed rates, and maintain product quality through real‑time material assessment.Monitor plant performance, troubleshoot issues to reduce downtime, and identify/manage inbound material contamination.Perform routine and preventive maintenance including belt tracking/splicing, idler/roller and bearing changes, screen media replacement, lubrication, and HSI blow bar work.Support safe and efficient operations by operating loaders/excavators, conducting pre‑operational inspections, participating in safety planning, and maintaining clean, compliant work areas.What Are We Looking ForOver 3 years of experience operating crushing and screening equipment in aggregate, recycling, or mining environments.Skilled in independently troubleshooting and performing routine maintenance on plant machinery.Solid understanding of how crusher settings, feed rates, and screen configurations influence product quality and production efficiency.Proficient in welding and fabrication, and capable of operating loaders and excavators to support plant operations.Demonstrates strong situational awareness, adherence to safety practices, and reliable communication, attendance, and task follow‑through.Conditions of EmploymentSuccessful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug/alcohol screen, and background checkSome positions require FMCSA regulated ongoing drug and alcohol testingWork EnvironmentRole operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.What We Offer$29.93 to $45.77 per hour401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributionsHighly competitive benefits programs, including:Medical, Dental, and Vision along with Prescription Drug BenefitsHealth Savings Account (HSA), Health Reimbursement Account (HRA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA)AD&D, Short- and Long-Term Disability Coverage as well as Basic Life InsurancePaid Bonding Leave, 10 days of Paid Vacation, 40 hours of Paid Sick Leave and 10 Paid HolidaysEqual Opportunity Employer - Minority / Female / Veteran / DisabledApplicants must be 18 years of age or older to apply.
