CMM Inspector

Job Description CMM Inspector needed for Aerospace Machine Shop Requirements for Employment include:Inspection & Measurement: Perform First Article, in process, and final inspections using precision instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers, bore gauges.)Blueprint Reading: Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to verify features and GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing) standards.Documentation: Document inspection results, maintain quality records, and generate non-conformance reports for rejected materials.Collaboration: Work with machinists to resolve quality issues and recommend adjustments to production processes.Experience: Previous experience as a quality inspector in a machine shop or manufacturing environment.Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of GD&T, blueprint reading, and shop mathematics.Tools: Proficiency with manual inspection tools (calipers, micrometers) and Automated Measurement Equipment (CMM).Attention to Detail: Ability to spot minute defects and ensure strict adherence to tolerances.PC DEMIS Software knowledge required.
